This is a Triang "Stockbroker" house, probably dating from the 1930s. It is mainly in original condition, with all the original wallpapers. Most of the furniture shown was acquired with the house and may well be original or of the same period. The windows are green, which is unusual, according to Marion Osborne, the leading expert on Triang Dolls houses. The four main rooms have M.E.S. bulbs in paper shades wired through the back wall, originally to batteries located in the loft. | |
