Christmas 2000

Here is our Christmas 2000 project

We decided to make 12 individual rooms which could be fitted together to make a complete house at the Christmas party. The rooms were 10in high, 9in deep and 15in wide. The club supplied the wood for the rooms, already cut to size. We first decided what the 12 rooms were going to be and then we decided who was going to have which room by drawing names out of a hat. Unfortunately one of member was not able to bring her room to the party and so we ended up with only 11 rooms instead of 12. The picture shows the side with 6 rooms; the other side only had 5.
We had originally intended to put each room in a sensible location in the house but we had to abandon this plan which is why the kitchen is on the top floor.

This year's Christmas party was a great success with a lovely spread of food provided by the Social Club.
